What is soft washing??

Soft washing is a low-pressure technique that can be used on exterior surfaces like roofs, siding fences, and driveways without damaging the surface. It uses soaps with bleach mixed in water to cleanse away dirt from these areas; this process makes them look brand new again!

Why is soft washing a good option?

The main reason this process appeals to consumers is that it uses eco-friendly products. It also makes exterior surfaces look brand new, saves homeowners time and money from not having to replace the surface being washed, and does so with very little disruption to your household.

What happens during a soft wash?

The first step of a soft washing process is to have the soap and bleach mixed with water. A tank will be attached to a truck or individual pressure washer, and this mixture will be sprayed onto the surface being washed. While being sprayed, the mixture loosens dirt from those surfaces. Once done spraying, workers rinse down the surface with a separate hose that has clean water running through it.

Will soft washing hurt or damage painted surfaces?

No, as long as workers follow instructions during the process they will not be removing any paint from those surfaces. Soft washing is one of many green pressure cleaning options available today!

Why use it instead of other cleaning methods?

Soft washing is an eco-friendly option that does not require the use of pressure washers, which are very loud and disruptive. It cleans surfaces like roofs, siding, and driveways to make them look brand new again instead of having homeowners replace these items.

How to build a simple soft wash system?

Tips for using your new roof wash system

When you set up your system, be sure to place it on an even and level surface so the soap dispenser does not spill any chemicals. You might want to do a test run of your system without adding soapy water to ensure there are no leaks and that the pipe is properly attached.

Plan the area you will be washing. This includes determining how much water your soft wash storage solution can hold, where it will be placed, and how hoses will run to reach all surfaces being washed.

Hook up your hose system by running hoses from the nozzle to wherever you are going to wash. Make sure everything is hooked up, in working order, and that no water is leaking.

Finish hooking up your soft wash system by adding the soap to the mixing tank. Turn on the pump when ready for it to begin spraying.

When finished cleaning, clean out the pump and hoses by running water through it for 10-15 gallons of water. Turn off the pump's power supply and disconnect all hoses from their respective parts.

Common problems with a roof wash system

If your roof wash system isn't sending out enough water, check the pressure. If it is measuring 0 psi, you may have a blockage in one of your hoses or connections that should be fixed immediately.

Be sure that all connections are tight and not leaking. If any area appears to be leaking, tighten those screws and watch for any future leaks.

If no water is coming out of your nozzle, check the plumbing for any obstructions that may be in the way. If you are sure that there are no blockages, then it could be time to replace your washer or nozzle.

Check for any air leaks that can cause a soft wash system not to work.

Also, make sure the pump is adjusted properly so the pump does not turn on and off while flowing water.
